batam trip
I know its almost a week since my batam trip, I only had the time now to upload photos cos I was too caught up with F1. You know, all the hype about the F1 in singapore, the first night race and all. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to take pictures while working at the F1 event cos the organisers were sooo niao.
Back to our Batam trip, it was good, C and me had lots of fun although it was only a one dat trip. We nearly missed our ferry@9.20am cos we woke up late. However, there were quite a few people late therefore the ferry decided to wait for us. You know the stuff about making sure all inventory is used up cos its an intangible asset. Okay, that i learnt from school, so LRM people who are reading this, if there are any, you guys should understand. So yar we arrived at Harris Resort, a wonderful resort with good service which is situated about a 5 minutes drive away from waterfront ferry terminal. Had our lunch at the cafe and checked in after which we took a 45 minute shuttle bus journey to Nagoya Hill, its a mall, close to something like far east except that they sell more fake branded bags like Chanel, Gucci and many more. I didnt have enough cash with me, plus its not like that place had a DBS atm or smth. I decided to save the cash for our expenditure on the resort amenities like Go Karting and Kayaking which we did on the second day before we head back to Singapore. We even had a 30 minute indonesian massage and 30 minute herbal bath which was soo worth it. To cut it short, Batam is a must go for a short trip to get away from the stressful fast paced life of Singapore. You know they dont have such things like ERP. Pictures below!

oh and when we came back from Nagoya Hill, the bus engine had some problem so we stopped for awhile...
which then allowed me to take photos with these wonderful little children
then we had our splendid dinner, this was made by C
