2 Days To Go....
OK, Team East Coast - we just need to have a quick chat about our impending trip to Yaoi Con since, as the subject line states, we only have about 2 days to go (YAY).
SO - dethorats, chibi_trillian, fffshuuu, plotbunny_tiff, and sherriaisling -
First of all, has a time been set for when you MD and VA folks are swinging into my neck of the woods? I'm getting Sherri from the airport Tuesday night, so I probably won't be home until about 10 PM. We shouldn't leave my house any later than 6:30 AM Wed. to make our flight, so you are all invited to come up and crash the night before. I'll warn you again that I have a small one bedroom apartment, but if you don't mind slumming it in cramp quarters for the night, I'd be more than happy to have you. The other option is to hit the road from your area early and get to my place uber early for our 6:30 departure - whatever works best!
I called for a van to take us to the airport Wed. like we discussed when I was down in Baltimore. The cost comes to about $16 per person which includes tip. I'm assuming it will be another $16 for the ride back. Now, our other option would be to take a couple of cars and park at the airport, something that will run us about $8 per night per car - which is considerably cheaper. I am fine with either option, but I wanted to throw it out to the rest of you. I'm OK with driving my car and leaving it in one of the lots, but I'm sure we'll need one other car as well. If we decide to drive I'll need to know as soon as possible so I can cancel the reservation I made with the van transport.
As far as printing our boarding passes, are we all good to print Tuesday morning so we’re all in group A? Sherri, I know that you’ll already be en route to me, but if you send me your SW user name and password, I can print out your boarding pass for you to get you into our group. Same goes to anyone who may not have access to a computer at 8:30 to print.
