Rude Todd on the Phone...
Telemarketeers have just improved their technique...where before they were a bug buzzing around trying to persuade you with some pain in the ass deals...now they are even less personal!
Just got a phone call with an automated message about saving 80% for a holiday in Florida.
Now normally, I would hang up on them. If I were in a bad mood, I would scream vulgarities at the voice recording and slam the phone down (especially when they wake me up in the morning!)
But today, I was in the talking mood, and interested to find out more... and I pressed '9'.
Now THAT is the worst thing ever! Coz then you get put through to a proper human being with a very rude voice and asking me for my name, age & credit card number...now hang on a second, what is this deal?
So, it's a holiday package for 4 people, I'm alone now and you want me to pay £499 NOW?!? Erm... I think I need to call a few people to check if they want to go on this first... is there a number I could call you back at?
Rude Todd goes: There are at least 2 other people on hold now, if you can't confirm I will answer their calls...

If anyone knows a guy called Todd who works for one of these annoying phone companies that call you up and then are immensely rude and asks you for your details without explanations... kick his arse for me please!
