Mr.Perfect (Chap 6/7)
Mariya waited for Chinen in front of their classroom, playing with her hair as Chinen came up from behind her.
“Hey shortie, let’s go get something to eat shall we?” Mariya cracked a smile as she put an arm around Chinen.
“One second you’re happy, the next you’re sad and then you’re frustrated, now you’re being like nothing’s wrong?” Chinen looked up at Mariya.
“Well, you know me. I forgive and forget.” Mariya avoided the question.
“I don’t like it when people tease me, Mariya.” Chinen stated. Mariya’s eyes widened, it was Chinen’s first time calling her by her first name.
Her eyes softened down a little but tensed back up again, she’s never letting her guard off again. She’s not letting a chance for Chinen to say anything related to love, them or anything close.
“Final exams are coming up…Are you sure you’re going to stay at the top again Mr.Yuri?” Mariya sing song.
“Eh? Of course! I always am!” Chinen looked up at Mariya with those big orbs of his.
“Tell me Yuri, why have you been so battered and tired these days? Is it because of me? Did something happen between your mom and you again?” Mariya asked, looking at the short boy as they kept walking.
“I…My mom refuse to look at me anymore. She says it’s your fault, but I don’t want to blame you. Because…I notice that I love you. Umika told me, I should be more straightforward for the girl I like to look at me.” Chinen walked with his head down, Mariya couldn’t help but feel sympathy for him.
Just like his mom said, it was her fault. She should help him back to his original life…
“I’m sorry for making you like this. You must know everything about my past now, you mother must have told you right?” Mariya asked again.
“What’s with you and all the serious talk? You’re not like this.” Chinen nodded his head lightly.
“I’m like this…because…of you. You’re making me so worried and frustrated at the same time. Who are you Chinen Yuri? You’re filling my head up.” Mariya stopped walking, clenching her fists.
“Who are you Mariya? I know that, you’re a girl who made me see differences between your world and mine. I’ve been shy and a mommy’s boy since I was born…You showed me freedom and standing up for myself.” Chinen chuckled.
“I think things are getting quite out of control, you should…go back to your mom. Say you’re sorry, and let her take care of you until she shouts at you to go away. I never existed, please...And about the winter trip, I’m canceling it. Go live happily with Umika. Leave my family and I alone. Go be your Mr. Perfect Chinen again!” Mariya ran off.
“Why was she smirking this morning? Things are coming out of her mouth randomly! So…she didn’t actually have a plan?” Yuto whispered to Suzuka as they hid behind a bus stop.
“Why are we following them anyways?” Suzuka rolled her eyes.
“Because I secretly want to go on a date with you, too!” Yuto smiled and put an arm around Suzuka.
“Oh, I just love you.” Suzuka returned the smile and leaned on Yuto’s chest.
“Let’s just stop spying and enjoy ourselves shall we?” Yuto mimicked Mariya.
“Hai, mochiron.” Suzuka planted a kiss on Yuto’s cheek that burned bright red right away.
“But…I don’t want to become a mommy’s boy again.” Chinen pouted.

Mariya ran into her room and slammed the door shut. Not that she cared since no one would come telling her to close the door properly, no one’s going to scold her for being so rude.
“I hate living alone…” Mariya grumbled.
The phone rang and Mariya went to pick it up, sadness in her voice, but her eyes lit up real big. With a simple word, “Arigatou.” She put the phone back in its place and collapsed on the ground, slowly…
A smile crept on her face.
