It's summer already, huh? At least it'll be much quieter where I'm going. School was much more fun then I thought though. And..I made some friends, so I guess it was a good year. Ah, I should get packing...

The orphanage would offer you a bed and meals, and a roof over your head every summer, as well as some help paying for robes, but you'd need to find someone who could take care of your cats.

The entire point of the orphanage is to offer a place for children who have no other home and no parents to take after them to stay and give them support.

And it's not as bad as in some stories like "Oliver" or "Annie" I swear!

And no one should have to live out on the streets. I'm already scared enough that nii-san and i will be forced to next year.

Don't worry. You still deserve to have a roof over your head. Everyone does.

And kids have come here from abusive families before too... scared that their parents would come and find them, even after court has dissolved all ties to them.... So you wouldn't be alone in that sense too.
