I've been meaning to update about the past few episodes, and I figure I better do it before tonight....God I am so nervous and scared for tonight, I can't even....O_o  I think I'm even more anxious than I was for the season 5 SN finale, since we a) don't know for sure if this is the last epp or not (even though it probably isn't) and b) Aidan

Gosh he looks so young & innocent in that pic. I want the old Mitchell back! :'( (And in that, the end was kind of satisfying).

I've got to get onto my Being Human vid making too, but there's so many songs out there I've just been compiling them all on my phone into one giant fanmix and have done nothing yet! LOL It's hard for me to think past this season, but I really want to incorporate all 3 so I think I need to rewatch the others again.

IKR? :( I am still so disappointed in the direction they took his character after season 1, and how we only got glimpses of the old season 1!Mitchell in the last two seasons...*sigh*

LOL, I finally got around to making the requisite A/M playlist on my iPod yesterday, and I've already got a new idea for a vid that I will probably do first, because it'd be shorter and easier, and a bit less depressing, lol...I do need to rewatch though, like I rewatched 1x06 the other day and just so many things I forgot...:/ It's weird, I love this show so much, but I don't actually know it that well compared to other shows, maybe because it's so long between seasons or IDK...I remember big things, but not a lot of little lines and moments (I kept seeing moments like the one in your avie in fanvids and such and going, "I...don't know what this is from".). I wish I had had time to do one big epic rewatch before season 3....it is a bit harder to watch the earlier seasons now though, given what happened...;_;

I pretty much got to see the first 2 seasons back to back getting into the show and didn't really think too much had changed in Mitchell, though this season I was quite aware he took a rapid downhill slide to the point where I was quite disliking him. In the first few seasons I could not see a hint of "Big bad John" but I think that was very much displayed in the last. I was glad that it ended the way it did not because I couldn't stand what he had become, but indeed because I didn't think there was anywhere else he could go. It was becoming quite clear we weren't getting the old Mitchell back. And if I couldn't have the old Mitchell, then I was fine with it coming to an end

You didn't even seen "Big Bad John" at the end of the season, with the massacres and creeper scenes? :/ And also just throughout the season he just didn't seem himself as much, and his relationship with Annie wasn't the same, it was like he had switched places with George on that front--I was so disappointed about that last season, it was like Arthur/Morgana on Merlin all over again, with him suddenly not seeming to care

Mmm yeah that was one of the things I noticed watching 3x01 again which made it feel contradictory - Lia was questioning why he didn't just go walk out into a field of land mines and end it all, and Mitchell was SO anti-suicide at that point despite what he'd done - it doesn't make it clear why he would have suddenly changed his mind? Unless the fact that he threw Nancy into a room with Herrick was anything to go by (but, again, that was probably just a reflection on his state of mind at the time). I get it, in the moment, but looking over the course of a season or so it doesn't always line up with what's been done earlier. Which makes make think they rushed it and didn't go back to check on things. I'm even guilty of that in my own writing, which is why I try to check back and make things streamlined... or make wikipedia style notes to relate back to if needed

Oooh yes a remembrance or Annie voiceover would have been nice, summing him up and how what he did was being human, with some flashbacks of happier times, and the allusion to the fight ahead of them...IDK it seemed like it ended so abruptly....:( You should be writing the show, lol!

And good point about that bit with the landmines, though I can see why he wouldn't have wanted to kill himself back then...IDK, it is all a bit inconsistent. He was also originally willing to stay behind in purgatory forever if Annie could go back, but once he was back with Annie he was so hell bent on survival...O_o

And gah I love all your icons here...<333 I need a Mitchell icon, I only have M/A ones...
