I have my werewolves that I love [Remus Lupin and Oz FTW!], but I definitely have more vampires that are on my love list [*points to icon* Louis was my first ever vampire crush]. I own tons of vampire fiction [I own tons of books, anyway.] I'm writing my own vampire novel [*headdesk*] So, um, yeah. I like the vamps.
I'm not sure if I know any books where they're equally cool. I haven't read many books with both featured. I don't think that started until after Underworld anyway. But Van Helsing [despite it's whacked out reconstructing of, like, every mythical monster ever] makes the vampire/werewolves pretty equally cool. In my own novel, they're not exactly friends, but they're not enemies because it never made much sense [other than in Underworld] for them to be. That's just my own two cents ;]
