Day 18 - Favorite title sequence:
I never fail to watch the title sequence when I watch this show, no matter if I’m marathoning and have seen it a million times! I just love the title theme music (my favorite ever I think) so much, and the very artistic way they do it, the images they use are so beautiful. Whenever I see these titles, I get excited, and they're also quite interesting in themselves since they are always changing (with people removed when they die off, or added for an episode or so)--it's new and interesting each time!
My only gripe with it is the seemingly random selection of who is included in it and who is not. For instance, the fact that Sarah Bolger was in every episode of season 3 as a regularly appearing and significant character (she’s on the back cover of the season 3 DVD box even, and on one of the discs), and yet didn’t make the title cut-even though the guy who played that random guy playing a bishop who rarely appeared did, and even though there were so few people in the credits they mostly had to use filler. Or even in the season 4 credits, I don't get why this random guy playing the French ambassador in a few scenes gets a title credit, but not the actor playing Chapuys, the Imperial ambassador who has been a key player since season 1, and who has consistently appeared in episodes, and for a significant amount of time in each epp! /mini rant
