Timeline
I just found these while poking around my Pictures folder. Wow hahaha.
Here are my Lolita transformations. From first outfits to now! I'm doing this because I never really did a "Lolita Timeline" for myself. Maybe because I'm embarrassed about how long it took me to get it right. D: Give me some creds though, at the time there was no "Loli mentors", or BTSSB in SF. Meta and BTSSB were the only places that shipped internationally. Anyway, tangent aside, here are the pics.
My first ever outfit... It was a school uniform of some sort that my mom helped me alter. It's dated January 2006.
Here's my first brand outfit, dated April 2007 - I got this outfit at the Kino bookstore in New York during Spring break.
Literally all my lolita stuff at the time is photo'd here. I didn't even have a headbow yet! Nor printed socks, or appropriate shoes XD
Then, I bought a JSK! This is where it all started folks- my pink phase. Phew, thank god I'm not 100% pink wardrobe anymore. May 2007 and I STILL didn't have any shoes other than these. How sad. :( Oh yeah, and notice the socks? I was still wearing trouser socks that were halfway see-through. No one bothered to teach me better. D:

I'm using more wardrobe fillers than at first. As soon as I could, I went straight for an all-brand wardrobe! I realized that that was kinda expensive, eventually. I've started buying bodyline when the items are good (like blouses and shoes) and making lots of basic skirts.
Then again, I still have enough to dress to impress:
Ah, that's much better now isn't it? I have a feeling in the future I may return to some more Gothic outfits, too. We'll see!
