My mom and I went out today to return some unwanted Christmas presents/spent some Christmas cash and ended up spending practically the whole day out. It was a lot of fun, especially because this was the first time in ages that I've got time alone with Mom without her boyfriend or one of my brothers being around. It was a pretty good end to a year that wasn't always so great.
