(no subject)

I just got done with my first ASL test. And I think I did alright! I missed, I think, one whole question, and two partials, so I probably have a B. And I can live with that. I've already decided that with so many classes, I can't freak every time I don't do perfect or I'll be crying in a corner somewhere come finals. ASL is, actually, much less scary than I thought at first, mainly because the people in my class are all wonderful and helpful. Almost all of us end up at class early, so we've started sitting around in the library before class running over signs with each other. And we may possibly be organizing a car pool to go see one of the ASL movies that are being screened at Kent main this fall.

I have my first Astronomy test Monday. Now that? That one I'd probably (sadly) be happy with a C on. Which I hate, because the subject is interesting, and I like my prof. He just isn't really a good teacher. I almost wish he was a horrid person. Because I don't think I'll be able to dislike him, even when I do bad. (He was talking about maybe taking the class outside, once it starts getting dark earlier, so we could actually take a look at what we're studying, and he was like a five year old on Christmas Eve, the idea excited him so.)

Oh, also, Mom bought me the neatest lip gloss yesterday. It's PotC, and is sword shaped. And she got me a pack of multi colored post-it notes, because I like making notes about what I'm reading, but I have this weird thing about not wanting to write on the book itself. My Mom is awesome. (And I am easily pleased.)

ETA: I babysat twice last weekend, and I'm doing it this Saturday night. I might actually end up having money for Yaoi Con without killing my bank account! (And, look, I'm being hopeful. Weird, that.)
