so about three weeks ago i had a SUPER stressfull week due to the fact that i agreed to do costume changes for 'almost, maine' so i called teresa to have the day off cuz i really just didn't want to work. she says 'that's fine'
sooooooo she evidently gave me the rest of the sememster off cuz she was all 'your grades are more important than your job-keep your education' blah blah blah. which i was actually pretty grateful for...not gonna lie....
this was about 4 weeks ago.
so i went into work last week and said 'hey, i'm all done with finals-but i'm going to arizona this weekend for my sister's graduation from asu (i had marked it on the calender MONTHS ago----when i bought the plane ticket) and when i come back, i'll be ready to get back into the schedule'
teresa:'ok, call me on monday (she was really busy filling an order at the time) and i'll get you back on the schedule'
so i called her yesturday
t:'well, i've pretty much got everyone working full capacity right now and i don't have you on the schedule yet'
me: *uuuuuuuh...WHY?! i told you last week i'd be ready to go on monday* 'that's fine, just give me a call when you put me back on'
t:'ok, i'll call you'
yeah.......i'm looking for a new job.
but here's the thing
i love working at great harvest. yes the pay is a bit too low for me...but they work around my school/play schedule, i'm VERY comfortable there...seriously the only downfall is the fact that i only get $7 an hour and let's face it---that's not enough
so i'm looking for a new job, but i just can't find anyplace hiring that i'd be interested in...i'd seriously take a fast food joint right now, but all i seem to be finding is stuff that's all 'experience required' or 'degree needed' and all that crap. it's either that or housekeeping.........
