In lieu of deponent verbs
School has begun! Nothing exciting to report. Except that I'm still homeless, which is appropriate considering I go to Berkeley. I believe, as Dave would say, we're on Day $650 or something like that.
So I've finally gotten around to loading the ridiculous number of pictures I shot while on vacation. So if any of you need a hodgepodge of semiartistic shots of the grand canyon and such for some reason...

Me and a wax figure of the Governator at Madam Tussauds. Almost ran into people a buncha times cause I kept confusing the wax people with the real people; yes, they were that good.
A bat'leth! Specifically, the Sword of Kahless. I want one. Ok I'm a dork.
After the Blue Man show. I can't remember the last time I cried cause I was laughing so hard. Music was incredible, too, as expected.
I wonder if the guy ever talks.
I'm also going to send out a whimsical sympathy for everyone foolish or unlucky enough to get stranded in SF this weekend by CalTrans and IE-80. I'm not sure why that's highest on my list of sucky things to happen right now, but yup.
