The attack of the Safari Ants
Last night, I was attacked by a wild animal- Safari Ants. Ouch. That is all I can say about their tactics. You may be laughing that I am in Africa and I am complaining about Ants rather than say... lions. I, However, have to say that the Safari Ants are to painful that our screams were heard all over the girls school, so much so, that the night guard ran to us with a gun to make sure we were okay.
I thought it odd when the girls inquired about the screams that they had never heard of Safari Ants. The girls said it is because we are white so the ants assume that we throw away perfectly useful materials as garbage. They, therefore, are never disturbed by the ants. Basically, the girls have NO idea what they are talking about.
In other news, 3 of the girls came down with Typhoid and 5 others have malaria. Did I mention that it is exam week? coincidence? i think not. just kidding. There really is typhoid in the water- dont get too worried, im vaccinated.
well that is all the time i have for today. Coco and I are in town for the weekend babysitting an american family YAY. well i miss you all and will talk to you later!
