fuckin' a man...
I am at school right now, waiting for some documents to print. Then I need to go home, and study like a motherfucker to get all of this done. It seems that there is no end to my constant stream of work. My mind is going three hundred directions all at the same time, running over theory, and random flash card facts. Intertwine all of this with a crying or laughing baby, a three year old that moves like the Tasmanian Devil and trying to wheel and deal with real estate agents and mortgage people, and well, it is a little nuts.
Oh, unbeknownst to me, my professors at school, along with member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon (National Dental Honors Society) elected me to their ranks. Which is really cool, as GV Black and all of the other founding fathers of my field were in it. It pretty much is the deciding factor between the elite and the ordinary. It is so nice to be recognized for hard work. It makes me feel like it is worthwhile and that I am actually accomplishing something.
I am learning more and more everyday about Operative dentistry. For those of you that thought that getting a filling was an easy procedure...ohhhh. I wish I could convey to you the complexity of it. Here is something concrete; the textbook weighs 15 pounds. And it is just about the filling part...the materials book is another book entirely.
