Late to the party, again
Probably a bit late on this but I keep thinking about a Ukrainian couple I worked with, back in 2004, solemnly-smilingly handing out oranges to people to mark the Orange Revolution. That didn't change anything directly, but it was a thing they wanted to do. Livejournal is probably the only Russian product I have a choice in using (apart from the oil NZ imports from there, and also from Saudi Arabia, which I already make efforts to reduce my use of) so, that's a choice, isn't it?
Not shutting down the account but not going to use it unless something changes, I think. I've been on Dreamwidth for ages already, same username. I hope not to lose contact with some of the people I particularly enjoy reading. Maybe see you when this all goes somewhere.
