We are moving across the tracks (literally)
We just secured another apartment.
*phew*
We are both shocked at how fast this has come up, but we are as pleased as I think we could be considering the circumstances.
Advantages to the new apartment:
-It is about forty percent larger than where we are now
-There are two bedrooms as opposed to the one we have now
-The kitchen is quite spacious with many cabinets and an additional "island" counter between the kitchen and dining room
-A larger bathroom
-Peach living room walls
-New Windows and vertical blinds
-Larger closets and more of them
-A statue in an old dried up fountain outside in the "courtyard"
-Hardwood floors that actually look decent
-On-Site laundry facilities that are less than half the cost of what we pay now in our apartment
Bonus:
-It is only about two blocks away from where we live now, so moving should be a little simpler.
Packing shall commence momentarily.
