Last Day of Posting!
Sherlockmas 2011 is nearing its close! We had an incredible 51 fics produced this year, and they're of an amazing variety: AUs, minor characters, romcoms, dramas, smut, kid!fic, and several EPICS that required posting in two parts.
In short? All of the participants were AMAZING!
Now: there is a lot of fic posted for the last two days! This is due to the difficulty of scheduling a fest when you hand out extensions, and don't know exactly how many fics you'll end up with at the end. BUT: this is the weekend, and a holiday one at that, so we've got all of today and Saturday to read and review before author reveals go up on January 1st, a date that is significant for a couple other reasons... ;)
My challenge to you? Read and Review! (I...may be using the reviews for something fun. Shh!) Of course, you can continue to read and comment after I put up the master list on Sunday, but there is something special about the comments you get in the first few days after posting, isn't there?
And remember to thank the person who wrote a gift for you! Not everyone feels comfortable gushing, so don't worry if you can't come up with half a page of exclamation points outlining every single aspect you enjoyed. But a simple and heartfelt "thank you" is polite, and will let your author walk away from the fest feeling good about the work they put into it.
Other than that, if I've made a mistake with your fic, it didn't get posted, you didn't receive a gift, etc. etc. - get in touch, either by PM or by emailing sherlockmas@hotmail.co.uk.
