Yes! Just click "Post a new comment" and copy/pasta in the template. :D (And there are not dumb questions! Someone else might have been wondering the same thing. :D)

First: yay! I am excited to see this, even if I'm not sure I'll be able to participate with all the work I'm likely to have in early December... Second: psst - sherlockmas@hotmail.com should read .co.uk! Though I'm wondering if we should set up a sherlockmas gmail...
Re: QUESTIONS OR COMMENTS?apple_pathwaysOctober 17 2011, 17:30:45 UTC
*sigh* I've only reminded myself 10,000 times to do the co.uk bit! (I blame the fact that I included my own hotmail email address on top for working .com into my brain.)
The hotmail address works fine for me--I have it forwarded to my own private gmail, so I'm not likely to miss anything. But it's up to you! I welcome change if you think it's needed, and I know we had issues with hotmail in the past.

I'm having a bit of an issue with the "DNW" parts. You mention being sensible, and my prompts won't really contain anything that would touch on any of my squicks/DNWs, but as for what I won't write... you've left the theme pretty open, so I'm a little more concerned there. A little help?
Re: QUESTIONS OR COMMENTS?apple_pathwaysOctober 17 2011, 18:05:36 UTC
I only mention 'being sensible', because I want to avoid participants racking their brains to come up with every possible obscure kink that might come up! Especially since most of the rarer/kinkier kinks (vore, scat, etc.) aren't likely to be written for someone unless they specifically request that kink.
HOWEVER: if you have major squicks or triggers, absolutely put them down. I'm not going to police anyone's comfort levels: include what you need to in order to feel comfortable with your sign-up.
And remember: just because someone requests something, does not mean you have to write it. I've asked everyone to provide multiple prompts as well as lots of information about what they enjoy reading and writing, so you should have plenty of options when it comes to your assignment.
Any other special concerns? Don't hesitate to bring them up. You could even send me a private note, and I'll make sure you end up with an assignment you're comfortable with.

Yeah, I almost used "scat" as an example, I'm not sure I've ever seen that come up here.
I guess I just feel weird saying something like "no non-con" in a Christmas fest; but then, you didn't say this had to be confined to Christmas themes, so you never know what people might ask for.
Re: QUESTIONS OR COMMENTS?apple_pathwaysOctober 17 2011, 18:22:23 UTC
You are correct that this exchange is not limited to Christmas themes! However: Christmas/holiday themes are most definitely welcome and encouraged. Anything you would have written or prompted for a previous sherlockmas fest is equally appropriate for this one! (And in fact, I'll a note to that effect to the post.)
Feel free to stalk the sign-ups for awhile to get a feel for what sort of stories people are requesting! Then you can decide how good your chances are of being matched up properly.

Go ahead and send it now! I've already started making a spreadsheet with everyone's username and email address, so there's no worries about me losing it. ;) (OCD mod is thoroughly OCD!)
And I'm glad you're participating! I know that once the regular sherlockmas crew starts signing up, we're going to have an awesome variety of fics to read. :D

Ok, I've signed up.
When should I PM you with my e-mail addy? Should I put anything specific in the Subject Line?
