Hello! And apologies for replying so belatedly…

I am so happy you enjoyed it so much! And wow, so many compliments! I haven't really written anything like this before, so I'm glad I seem to have managed to fill your prompt well and written something you liked :D

I love writing Sherlock and John, and their relationship, and its always fun throwing them into different situations. They have an amazing friendship, one I could only hope to have, and I like to think they always support each other. We haven't seen Harry in the show yet, but this is how I think she's like- and her relationship with John where maybe they get a long a little better. I also imagine she slowly comes to approve of Sherlock, after awhile. And poor, long-suffering Lestrade. He's a good officer, just not as fast and reckless as Sherlock and John.

You are very welcome, I really enjoyed writing this (even if as you can tell it kind of got away from me)!

Oh, one last note: I posted this on a03 under the same title as shadowed_sunsets. I'll be adding an epilogue with more explanation of the backstory of what happened, sometime in the near future (just in case you're interested ;) )
