Someone needs to make Sherlock and Sally fall in love (and stay in-character and in-canon, which I know must be possible because of the bloody amazing Sally/Sherlock fill in Part IV).
I'm talking jealous, possessive, unhealthy, i-hate-you-i-love-you, lustful, can't-stay-away-but-really-really-should, truly fucked up love-if you can give me that, anons, I'm yours.
If Sherlock/Sally isn't your thing, Sherlock/John, Sherlock/Sarah or Sherlock/Molly work too.
Watching "Silence of the Lambs" right now and when Starling visits Lector for the first time he asks her to sit down and I was eerily reminded of the warehouse scene where John refuses. The whole deduction thing that went on was startling similar to "Silence of the Lambs", too.
So. AU. Where John (in his early twenties) is still at uni and his psychology prof gives him an assignment questioning the aloof, mysterious, highly intelligent Mycroft Holmes (because Holmes fancies the kind of guy John is? Intelligent but ordinary?). Mycroft is in a mental hospital on account of being a psychopath. Is he a psychopath? Is he covering for his little brother who as well might be?
I would love some John/Mycroft UST of sorts, pre-slash would be fine, too, just work in some serious tension. You don't have to base the whole thing on the film but if you want to write them as a film!AU.

The UST between John and Mycroft wasn't really coming naturally, and I didn't want to manhandle it in there, so I apologize if this is not exactly what you were looking for. I hope that it is at least close. Writing it was certainly an interesting experience

Come on! Mitchell and Sherlock are both tall, dark, and Byronic, while George and John are both adorably charming and plainly-good looking. Perhaps Sherlock is interested in something the vampires have been up to? Does he know anything about the supernatural? Do they tell him or does he figure it out? Points if Sherlock underestimates George and is smacked down. Super-bonus points is Annie and John get along like a house on fire.

...I was just watching this movie last night. And guiltily imagining a crossover with Sherlock. Wherein Sherlock was the Night Fury. Of course, I promptly scolded myself for being silly and tried to put it out of my head.
After reading your prompt, now I'm desperately reminding myself that I've a BB fic in another fandom due in DAYS that I'm very very behind in. (The bunny does not care. I can't make any promises but I might have a fill for you at some point. Because nightfury!Sherlock and reluctantrider!John is pure love.)
If Sherlock is on his knees, Lestrade must also be kneeling, yes? (Unless he has an elephant's trunk of a penis.) John must be standing up, if he's getting his blow-job, so how can he and Lestrade be kissing? John is short, but he's not that short.
