Hi, guys, I would really like to see a story in which fem!Sherlock decides to have an abortion and, you know, actually goes through with it (circumstances up to you). And maybe some of the people around her aren't as supportive as you'd hope, but she does it anyway and maybe has some regrets but in the end she knows it was the right thing to do.

I wouldn't say no any pairing as long as this is some part of the story.

John doesn't understand, but of course he won't. Good virtuous John who regards all life as precious, even the ones that haven't been born yet into this world. He respects Sherlock decision but at times he looks at her with disappointment. She knows that John has been thinking about having a child and she also knows that he will be a good father. He was really excited when she told him the news, even though he wasn't the father

AAAH, OMG, THANK YOU FOR FILLING THIS PROMPT, and so quickly, too! I really love your take on it--so unusual, and it makes so much sense, too. Great Mycroft characterization.

I like this line the best:

This might be your only chance to be a mother, the voice whispered. Can you live with it? Knowing that you had your chance and you threw it away?

THANK YOU very much for posting this, a fantastic and sensitive piece. Everything in character, and yes I'm glad to see how Sherlock handles this.

I was wondering why there weren't any stories along these lines on the kinkmeme, since there seems to be stories about literally everything else. Thank you so much nonnie.

I was wondering about the same thing, just about fanfic in general. We have many stories where someone gets pregnant and keeps the baby, which is fun and fluffy and great to read, but sometimes it's nice to explore the other side of the coin, which people in real life have to make a decision about and deal with not-so-supportive reactions all the time. And it's a great character moment to delve into.

So thanks, author-anon, for taking this on and treating it with respect. I appreciate it.
