Not that you're not good company, rant post and meme, but I would like to keep my sanity and get some sleep. Did you know a person can die for lack of sleep before dying of hunger?

No, because that isn't even remotely true. Even people who have Fatal Familial Insomnia can survive for years past their initial diagnosis. Ordinary insomniacs aren't going to die from lack of sleep, unless they somehow manage to stay awake for the next ten years.
