Sebastian threw him against the wall (they had their first kiss here) so hard that John’s head smacked painfully against it and bounced back. Bleary eyed, he saw where this was going. Sebastian could be violent, yes, but he’d never beaten John.
John pleaded a heartfelt, “Just tell me what’s going on!” but Sebastian ignored that.
He gripped John’s head and pulled him into a kiss, but John twisted and shrunk away from him, pressing back against the wall. Sebastian gave him an ugly look and backhanded him, hard, across the face.
John sucked in a breath, shocked, his head flung to the right from the force of the blow, his cheek burning.
If he hits me again, I’ll leave, John told himself. It was an empty promise made to no-one.
“Don’t asked stupid questions,” Sebastian said, and John hated that, because it wasn’t a stupid question.
“I don’t mean to pry, Seb, but I was worried for you in there and you had such a strange reaction-“
Seb hit him again and John gasped and struggled to leave. He lashed out and boxed Sebastian on the ear, and the man yelped in pain and loosened his grip. John twisted expertly away, but Seb recovered quicker than John could have anticipated and flung him back against the wall with a strength that assured John that against this man, he was outclassed.
“You really are stupid, aren’t you?” Sebastian snarled, and slammed his fist into John’s gut. John doubled over in pain but Seb held him upright and pushed him back, pinning him to the wall. He stared at John, waiting patiently for him to recover.
That was a terrifying thing in itself, the mix of cruelty and kindness that made him so unpredictable.
Sebastian kissed him again. This time, John didn’t flinch away.
“I love you,” the man whispered, breath harsh against John’s lips, his body pressed all the way down John’s so that he was pinned between this man and the hard wall behind him, hands on either side of John’s face.
“Sebastian …” John said weakly.
“Say it,” Sebastian ordered, his hands pushing, his body pressing. John felt as if he could be crushed under him.
John said, “I love you,” softly, and Sebastian kissed him again. It grew deeper, and John could feel Sebastian’s hardness pressing against him.
“Turned around,” grunted Sebastian roughly, and John obeyed. He pressed his forehead to the wall and shut his eyes as Sebastian unbuckled his belt, pulled John’s trousers and pants down. He heard the slick sound of Sebastian lubricating himself, then the hot press against his abused hole.
Sebastian sank in deliciously slowly, and John hissed at the agonizing stretch of muscle, a painful hint of incredible pleasure. Seb clutched at his hips and John braced his hands against the wall, he wasn’t allowed to touch himself.
“You’re so tight,” hissed Seb.
He started off with slow, deep thrusts, pushing John to the limit. He sped up, skin slapping skin, fingers digging hard into John’s side. John gasped at the sensation overtook him, and Seb reached up to cover John’s mouth with one large hand. John groaned as Seb pushed into a punishing pace.
“Ah, god, Ji-John. So good, you’re …”
John came first, with Sebastian’s hand helping him along. He juddered and shook in pleasure and nearly fell over, but Seb pressed him into the wall and fucked him with such fury that it was all John could do to keep himself upright. He wished that he was a little stronger.
Sebastian came with a hissing groan, and pulled out, catching John before he fell, off balance that he was.
“Don’t make me hit you again,” he whispered in John’s ear with such deadly promise that John shuddered in his arms.

Yes, he doesn't react to dead boyfriends in the quiet, absorbed way that John does. Not that John's way of retreating into his shell and letting himself be cut off from the world is any healthier.

Oh, god, poor sad little John! I'm glad he got a chance to fight back there a little at least. But still, how terrible!

Yeah, Seb misses his boyfriend like John misses his. He's just a bit more violent when mourning!
