Sherlock had not expected much when he decided to share digs with John Watson. He needed someone to share the rent and the man knew how to stay quiet so he didn't have to worry about unnecessary conversation. The man was above average when it came to intelligence but unfortunately he was still a idiot in comparison to Sherlock himself. When the man started accompanying him on cases it was a added bonus. Yes there were many advantages to having John around.
Lab rat was just the newest perk.
Glancing down at his watch he raised his eyebrow in interest; John was doing better then he thought. Really a man of his height and weight-
THUD.
“Sherlock!” Mrs. Hudson's panicked voice called from downstairs and the aforementioned consulting detective couldn't help but smile slightly. Partially it was because he just set the time line for his latest case thanks to John and a little chemical help and partially due to his own brilliance for figuring it out. He loved it whenever he knew he one.
“Just throw a blanket on him Mrs. Hudson.” Sherlock called back, opening his laptop and logging into his website. “He'll be awake in four to six hours.”
Sorry for the short fill. I hope someone does this fill justice.
