Some of you may have noticed some very sketchy links on the meme recently. Our investigation has led us to believe that they are caused by one of the advertising companies associated with Livejournal. Don’t worry, you do not have a virus or malware.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t find a way to make them completely disappear that didn’t involve getting a paid account, but we have found ways to block them.

If you’re using Firefox, you can install the NoScript add-on.

For Safari, Chrome, Firefox, and Explorer users, you can install Do Not Track Plus.

If someone knows how to remove those advertisement links forever, please let us know.

Yeeeeeah, I thought so. I scanned my PC with 3 different anti-malware/virus programs and found nothing. I was getting paranoid. Good to know that I'm not infected with anything and thank you for having a solution to the problem :) You are awesome!

I admit I haven't seen any. I think users with paid (and therefore ad-free) accounts don't see them while logged in either.

Jim Moriarty is not a criminal mastermind anonymous November 2 2012, 22:38:59 UTC
Nor is he an actor Sherlock hired. He's a journalist. One day Sherlock denies an interview with him. Angry, Jim starts digging up old articles and researches as much as he can about Sherlock. He becomes obsessed. Eventually he finds something disturbing.

Up to author what that is. Gen preferred.

The media flocks to Sherlock Holmes. It's hardly anything new. As money flows to the writer, so do the writers flow to money, and Sherlock, as much as he'd like to deny it, definitely has money.

John's grown used to it, has become accustomed to the sound and the clamor and the sudden flashes of light. He's gone from one battlefield to the next, is wrapped up in a living legend, has no care for things that are happening that he didn't expect, because he didn't expect anything.

He was ready to die when he came back, and all this is just extra. An afterlife on earth.

Sherlock, though, is wary, because Sherlock is wary of everything. He can catalogue their conditions and dismiss them as boring but it's impossible to delete something that's camped out on your doorstep, leering at you from every streetcorner, something that's as pervasive and as difficult to stave off as rot.

He is asked for interviews and brushes them all away, taking the moments instead to analyze the lives of the askers as well as he can in the brief instance of their ( ... )

(TW: Slavery, probably dub-con/non-con) Sherlock is a slave anonymous November 2 2012, 22:50:21 UTC
In a world where some people are naturally inclined toward submission (call them what you want), slaves are accepted, fairly rare and highly prized. They can be discovered at any age. Somehow - up to you - it is discovered that Sherlock is one of these people. Whether he knew beforehand or not is your choice. How John gets ownership of him is also up to you.

What I'd like to see: A very submissive yet proud Sherlock struggling with his desires. If it ends up long enough, I'd love to see him beginning to submit to John of his own free will - learning to take pride in who and what he is now.

Would love a scene in which John uses pleasure and pain to make Sherlock feel a way he has never felt before, yet Sherlock still fighting it still.

Kinks are up to you but I love me a bit of breathplay!

Sherlock gets himself hurt - Post-TRF anonymous November 2 2012, 22:55:08 UTC
Sherlock tangles with the wrong group of henchmen, and is badly injured.
He's in a rather remote area - and ends up being taken to the Doctors Without Borders clinic.

Despite being in an awful state - he recognizes that he is most likely the patient of a certain Doctor Watson.

Run with what happens next.
Does John recognize Sherlock and do they take out Moriarty's network together as a team from there on out or does Sherlock choose to keep John in the loop somehow? Up to filler.

Rape, broken bones, and graphic descriptions of a compound fracture is a bonus.

This. Is awesome. Seconding!

Also seconding graphic descriptions, this pre-med is very very looking forward to.

Even Mycroft is "excite". That's a little sick, Mycroft.

Yay! I've post a few prompts with medical interests in them here myself. Just don't have a lot of time to write, but I didn't get some interesting vision when we covered the gigli wire in SX instruments. *evil grin*

Sherlock is a martyr (Tw: uh, anything goes? violence.) anonymous November 2 2012, 23:04:04 UTC
Sherlock gets himself and John into trouble and a group of people (idk, it's up to you) - they hurt John a bit and Sherlock starts taking it on himself (idk beatings? whatever else you want to do) - antagonising them against himself so they hurt only him.

Would like some humiliation in front of John please.
