How you got into Sherlock: through friends telling me I should watchi this amazing series. I was hooked within the first 5 minutes of A Study in Pink!
Other adaptations you enjoy: I liked the first Guy Ritchie movie, the second not so much. That's about all for the other adaptations.
Favourite Sherlock character(s)/pairing(s): Sherlock, John, Mycroft, Lestrade and Molly. Sherlock/ John shipper all the way! It's plain they love each other very much.
A prompt you'd like to see filled: John has a bit of a kink for pretty boys in eyeliner (he refers to it as guyliner). He suspects it comes from listening to lots of Bowie as a kid and watching Rocky Horror once too often with Harry. One day John comes home to find Sherlock wearing guyliner, maybe for a case, maybe for an experiment. It makes John all hot, bothered and wibbly. Bonus points if Sherlock's wearing the type of clothes you'd go out goth clubbing in.
Favourite episode and why: Riechenbach. Martin Freeman's acting is beyond superb.

Can you even imagine those long, long pale finger tipped in black? And he's so expressive with his hands and GOOD GOD. BRAIN EXPLODED. AND THE SONGS! There needs to be a fanmix for this, too. If someone doesn't write this, I just might have to for my own enjoyment, even though I swore I wouldn't write in this fandom (not good enough, tbh). NNNnnnggggggh.

I would love to give this a go, but honestly while I write decent Supernatural fandom stuff and passing Harry Potter stuff, I doubt very seriously I could capture either John's or Sherlock's voices in a good enough way to share it with anyone but myself. But, God, would I like to try, just for the fact that this is INSANELY hot.

And the music's just perfect. Been listening to a lot of Muse lately, too. ARGH. Why am I not a better writer?!

I could write the clothes... I go out to a goth club once a month and it is so nice being surrounded by pretty goth bois. :) I can just imagine Sherlock being one of them. Think he'd wear pvc trousers though - wipe clean and all that jazz - with a fishnet top under that gallery serpentine corset and with these http://www.buynewrockboots.co.uk/vip/nw114-c2-new-rock-nw114-c2/prod_280.html on his feet rather than your more chunky new rock boots. Soundtrack would have to include Closer by NIN I think.

Funnily enough, talking of Muse I used Undisclosed Desires as a fic title... for my first Sherlock fic!
