My initial reaction to this is largely limited to AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH MOLLYYYYYYYYYY AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH plus various vigorous flails.

This is an amazing expansion of this piece, which I honestly never meant to be more than a creepy, unreliable-narrator moment. And then you went and MADE MOLLY A GODDESS. That right there has earned my undying devotion.

Molly IS a goddess. Oh, this is fabulous.

And a little edgy as well, which I like. Because she's sending him back again, and I worry (just a very, very little) that he might fail the test the third time. If he doesn't stay quite as good as he is now. Because if people can grow better, larger souls/hearts, then couldn't they also shrink?

But mostly I'm very happy for John's sake. And now I'd love to see the whole thing from Mike's POV, heh.

Yes, the question whether Sherlock will pass the test the third time remains open... I think he will, though. The way I saw it was that he managed to "fix" his heart and thus his afterlife till the end of the story and now he's been sent back to fix his real life as well. But well, who knows in the end? ;-)

And yes, Mike's POV would be very interesting, too! There are far too few stories featuring Mike...

I had a really hard time choosing between your fics - they were all so wonderful and creative! :-) I'm very glad someone else had the guts to remix "A City at the Head of a Pin" which I honestly didn't dare to try... "As Heavy As My Weight Should Be" won me over because I hadn't seen anyone mix Sherlock and Egyptian mythology before - but it worked so well! And then I thought: Wait, doesn't that make Molly a goddess?? And then I couldn't stop... :-D
