Booom!
Did a wank bomb exploded over night? (And not the fun kind either :().
There is the whole LJ deleting journals thing, now there is an argument going on in abandonedplaces because someone people are being wanky about someone who posted in their native language without a translation... now there is more wank. Ah well.
Tonight on Lord of the Rings one of the cast got their leg caught in a scissor lift so the entire show was shut down, cast member taken off to A&E and the Health and Safety Executive are investigating. Nothing interesting happened on Dirty Dancing.
I caused a bit of a stir in darkvictoria asking if anyone had any recommendations for my Holmes article, nice comment from someone who was unhappy that I was even writing an article about Holmes's sexuality in the first place. Some nice help offers including someone who listed their thesis bibliography (which included a book called 'Arthur Conan Doyle and the Meaning of Masculinity' went off and found a copy for £25 which is expensive but the others were £60+ so I ordered it and once I'm done with it I'm willing to donate it to anyone who would be interested.) Obviously I'm ignoring the negative comments because I was only asking for possible book suggestions/articles, I would understand objections if I had posted in the Holmes communities... anyway.
Thought more about my opening, which I could do with some feedback for :). Will post after my bath, where I am going to write about Holmes going to the dentist dedicated to skylockee, redconverse and lyricalsoul.
My week off from 11th - 16th June was accepted, although that does mean I now only have four days holiday left until April next year. Ah well. I also can't leave until April of next year since technically I haven't earned any of the holiday yet... :P (That's right, I get 4weeks and I earn it by how many shows I do, I do not have the right to weeks.) Off to Bristol I go! Whooo!!! (13th - 16th :D)
