Sat through London Road thinking it was absymal, messy and uncomprehensible at times. I had the same feeling regarding Enron, Or You Could Kiss Me, Jerusalem and 13. I don't think 'new writing' is for me, I like characters and stories not "themes". Give me Arthur Millar, JB Priestly, Alan Bennett and Alan Ayckbourn any day of the week. I want to see more things like Men Should Weep (by Ena Lamont Stewart), Seasons Greetings, An Inspector Calls, The History Boys...
