Yay!
I'm off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of oz...
Post-redundency panic averted, I got a job on 'Wizard of Oz'. I start on the 9th August. Probably the scariest interview/audition I've ever done, presented with a 4kw followspot with no size markings or sights and told to pick up a mark on the stage in a pin spot...meep. All went well though, might not have been bang on the mark but I was very close each time. I get to do a stage spot at the start of the show that requires donning a harness and climbing over the fly floor :D. I loose Sunday but gain Monday as my day off.
Also doing the 'Lend Me a Tenor' get out on Monday (I could have done Tuesday unpaid but the Opera House are paying me to clean & fix stuff... :P).
