I've decided the best way to deal with plot hedgehogs is to obey them and see what happens... and as you know recently I've got a little obsessed with Grey's Anatomy so... I apologise. The only thing I'm always a bit concerned about is that some turns of phrase don't really work over the pond but they might work for the character or situation. I'm tempted to hunt out a dictionary of American idoms, but then that's really overkill.

I liked this. I never understood on Grey's how Callie could leave with Sloan after what she told Erica. And I liked Bailey being the one to comfort Erica.

I never quite got that either but I was thinking about it the other day and came to the conclusion that there was obviously more to their conversation than the writers showed us. I can't imagine Callie going off with Sloan, not without Erica's approval. You never know, perhaps once her shift was over she was going to join them at Joe's.
