Other worlds, heroes and villains coming together, choosing sides--this scenario's a bit too familiar for my taste. Battleworld, anyone? I thought the Beyonder was gone and done, but this makes me wonder...could he have had a hand in this?I'll admit OSTA's proposition was tempting--I'd like to know that everyone back home is safe more than anything ( Read more... )

I agree with you. It's not really the fact that they're doing more, per se, but they do seem to honestly want to help us. OSTA wants to help themselves.

I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, but I'd like to see a little more of ANTI before I believe that they want absolutely nothing in return.

Nothing personal, but I've seen my share of backstabbing, if you catch my drift.

Exactly. And that's what makes this whole thing so frustrating...but like I said, ANTI generally seems more trustworthy. We'll just have to see how things progress.

Judging from your response, you seem to know exactly what I mean. I'm sorry if I brought up something unpleasant for you.

It's a very long story, but...kind of. I was taken to a different world and told to take a side in an inevitable war. You can see the similarity.

It'd make more sense if you knew the guy behind it, but in the end we kinda had to find our own way back the same way we'd gotten there. This was after a whole lot of fighting, though.
