Mildly disappointed
Well, I was called to the jury box and then, minutes later, summarily dismissed by the prosecutor, a twinky, gel-spiked, 20-something named Tristan.
I have to tell you, I am depressed to some extent, only because I really would like to serve on a jury some day...and being called into the jury box for the second time, only to be sent away without an explanation, is just disappointing.
I know it isn't personal. In fact, I know all about the tactics and strategies of lawyers, both for the defense and the people. It doesn't change the fact that I would still have liked to have been on the jury.
Oh well. Back to the real world...
