May the odds be ever in your favour..

So yesterday I got to see The Hunger Games with my good friend Verlein because I'd been anticipating the movie for 5 months and she'd been anticipating it for 2 years. Anyways we got to the cinema way too early since we went to get food at Supermacs (god bless their burgers. Nom.) Verlein was a complete weirdo and wouldn't get any popcorn or a drink. Who the hell does that? Verlein does.

We were the first in the "Q", as it was spelt on the sign.

Yes, I did feel the need to take a picture of the sign.

So then we were waiting beside a poster for The Hunger Games. So I pressured Verlein into letting me take a picture of her with it and then her taking a picture of me with it.

(Yes, that's my popcorn and drink. Because Verlein is a weirdo.)

For anyone who reads this's own safety, I scribbled my face out. Seriously, you will thank me.

So anyways we were finally allowed to go in and of COURSE we got a seat up at the very top. The screening was barely full, there were literally more adults than teenagers there oh, the irony. We were like gripping each other's hand when the reaping scene was on. We pretty much sobbed when Rue died. Oh god, Rue. I was so upset, damn it. And oh yes, the Peeta/Katniss was beautiful. Otp for life. (Pretty sure Verlein started shipping them in the movie, which makes me a very happy camper.) I got so many Haymitch/Effie feelings, it was kinda crazy. Did I mention that Effie Trinket is absolutely perfect. Because she is. "THAT IS MAHOGANY!!!"

Their love is legendary.

So basically.. The Hunger Games was a fucking amazing movie. I can't wait for Catching Fire since Finnick and Johanna are the best characters ever.

the hunger games, i just have a lot of feelings
