I can't.....deal with this.

Has anyone found any way, at all, to get a message out? I've got a daughter out there...I missed Christmas...and she started her junior year and...

I don't care if I can't get out. I just need to know my daughter's okay.

I'm still working on that...

I know it isn't much, but there is a chance that if we got back, we'd be sent back to the exact moment we left.

I'm not that lucky...

Everyone keeps saying we're in another dimension. What if it's just a one-way door? What if...we do get sent back to our homes, but in THIS dimension and not our own? Or we get hurled into another time all together? Or some sort of paradox rips everything apart?

Sounds like you're talking about these things from experience.

What branch of government do you belong to?

Department of Justice. Well...I was. As a US Mashall...then as a sheriff... You know, the details aren't important. A lot of involvement with the Department of Defense.

...they're not involved with this mess, are they?

None that I'm aware of, so you can hold your breath on any government conspiracy theories until we get things figured out. I'm FBI and I heard nothing of this before things went down. I was practically trapped in the north side of the island for months before I managed to make my way down here.

No conspiracy needed. I've seen them willing to drop a nuke on a (near) innocent victim, gut a building of all biological matter--with people trapped inside--and too more things that I want to think about right now.

This all just reeks of something they'd do--quarantining an entire city.

Department of Justice, you said?

I'm curious because I've seen similar matters, myself.

...Yeah. Something like that.

I see.

I've seen the government wipe an entire town clear from the map, and cover up the New York Blockade Incident in 1997. None of these things matter here, though.

Nothing really matters here, when you get down to it. No one's come for us yet anyway. Not the government, not anyone.

Whoever it is, they're doing something to us.

People seem to have been sent back at times, at least it seems that way. There's just a feeling you get when someone leaves like that.

We've had people arrive from different points in the same time line and not remember the other person missing. There is a possibility that someone is returned with no memories.

There's a lot of variables, but until we figure out some hard facts, we have to keep trying.
