Come volunteer for The Real News.
The Real News is an independent, non-profit, video-based news organization that will be financed through monthly donations from viewers across the globe. It will not bend to corporate or government pressure, which will give its journalists the freedom to think and act independently and courageously.
With its growing coverage, from the lead-up to the U.S. presidential elections, to Venezuela, to the Middle East, it is well on its way to having a 24-hour web based news service and an hour-long daily show for television, with the main offices being right here in the heart of Toronto.
Of course, none of this would be possible without volunteers, who have been vital to The Real News since its creation.
Come join a growing organization that could put your skills to good use. We are looking for volunteers to come in at least once a week, for four hours in the morning or the afternoon.
If you’re interested in journalism, production, development, web development, graphic design, social media and communications, translation, or just want to get involved, this could be the place for you.
