So. I'm currently an undergraduate H.B.Sc student at U of T (archaeology). And I'm thinking of giving grad school a big old "fuck you" and a pass. Coming from someone that worked in animation prior, went to the school, left and now working successfully in the "biz" again:

Bear in mind that while Sheridan is delusional enough to think their program is like an animation studio, the reality is it isn't. Sheridan doesn't have a clue about a lot of things, and tend to bring out the knives for people who say otherwise, since they can't handle constructive criticism. I would advise that if you are going to attend Sheridan, get ready for a frustrating experience if you know anything about how the pro industry works.

I had no issues prior to attending Sheridan working in animation and film, went there and was frustrated and angry at the ridiculous curriculum, and went back to the 'biz. I'm not going to sacrifice the quality of one course for another. Anyone who defends the curriculum is still a student and hasn't worked in the 'biz yet. Working in the animation industry is loads of fun, going to Sheridan sucked.

As for OCAD, not to belittle them or anything, but they're a bunch of artsy-fartsies that can't really draw. Animation is more technical and accuracy reigns supreme. If you're good at architecture or drafting you'd make the transition to animation quite well.
