Copenhagen calling, London calling!

May 31, 2012 10:21

AH tomorrow we'll fly to Denmark - home of great music - and meet our friend who is in exchange there. First couple of days in Odense and then couple of days in Copenhagen.

Never been in Denmark before so looking forward to see what's it like! One can always confuse local people by speaking bad Swedish.<3

Stuff I know about Denmark:
- H. C. Andersen, wrote children's books, famous book: Little Mermaind
- Little Mermaind statue and Tivoli in Copenhagen
- Denmark has queen and other royalities to support
- they eat herring (?) and their famous cuisine is based on sandwiches
- nice red-white flag
- small country with lots of islands
- Carlsberg factory in Copenhagen (the boy told me this)

... yea that's about it. Haha what a great opportunity for me to learn about new country and its culture! And shop!

After this off to sweet n' good&old London!

Long time no see! Your murky streets and rainy days, ah here I come.

Places we must visit in London:
- British Museum (free entrance, lot's of fun!)
- Trafalgar Square
- House of Parliament (watching from outside is fine, don't want to spend my day at the line)
- London Bridge
- THE TOWER OF LONDON (wants to see all them crown jewels and dungeons)
- many many restaurants and coffee shops

Today I must start packing and go to bank to change some money for kroners and pounds! I'll be back 12nd of June.
Play nice you all!
