Prom Night: My Life is Considerably Cooler than Yours

Apr 30, 2006 16:41

God, was last night more than I ever expected it to be!

I bailed on the thought of Prom when it started to pour. I wasn't going to show up without looking absolutely gorgeoous. Plus, by the time Michael, Brittnie, and I got out of J. Alexander's it was already 7:50, and we had to be at Boudreaux's by 8:30 which was never going to happen with the rain.

Smoked.

Watched the lightning directly hit a powerplant. The entire sky turned the most beautiful shade of blue I've ever seen upon impact.

We popped into the Mall for a bathroom visit and I got to see my big bro, Jesse (much love), that's always wonderful.

Cheap Racism of the evening:
"Oh shit, we're going into the ghetto now!"
"Dude, nigs don't come out in this weather, not when it's raining this bad. They can't swim, duh."

Went to see Fontana perform at a comedy club, met some cool cats, drank some free booze.

Partied at Fontana's all night with Magic Mike, Lance, Michael, and B-Ritz (until she had to go).

I still haven't gone to sleep. I have two exams to study for and a paper to write. I don't anticipate crashing anytime soon either. Why am I writing in my Livejournal again? I quit school, that's it, I'm dropping out.

On another note I contribute no more effort to what is my lost cause of the year from this day forward.
