a rollercoaster ride
Its amazing how one person can make or break your day
They can bring you up or put you down, depends on their deciding way
You know, usually I’m the strong one, who holds my head up high
I’m not one of those stupid girls who fall for the asshole guy.
But when I am around you, my world begins to spin
I can’t think straight, I’m short of breath, I no longer win.
One look at you, my mind sets freeze, can’t think for my own
I am willing to do what I wouldn’t before, I have lost my comfort zone
I feel every emotion in a seconds glance, happiness, joy and pain
These feelings all occur so sporadically, not leaving much time to try and explain
Although you’ll never admit it, actually state the feelings you show
Tell the world how good you have it with the girl you love and know.
People think I am ridiculous, for wasting time on you should be regret
But to me the year was wonderful, filled with memories I’ll never forget.

A good day, a bad day, a hug, a tear, everything you’d say and do.
I held on to you, held on to hope, and wouldn’t stop it for the world to see
You were worth every second, couldn’t give up on you but you gave up on me.
But thank-you for opening my eyes to make me realize that this feeling does exist
Brought it from a dream to a reality, in just a simple twist.
I’ll continue my ways of being strong, just being little old me
Keeping my feelings, personality, and ways of life, just where they used to be.
