I'm better tonight. Sometimes just going over one's problems (now don't that sound better than "whining abut your shit"?) can help you get your head around 'em.
With Mangia gone, we transferred Rufus into the 20 gallon tank. He's SOOOOOOO happy in it! No more hanging by his fins from the top, no more looking bored. Now he's got an office with a view, and he's ready to kick ass and run Midgar.
(Rufus is a 5 year old 18-cent feeder goldfish with a royal pedigree [or so he insists]. And he is really, really pretty.)
We saw Milk, and that was one kick-ass film. I was surprised. I knew how it would end... but I didn't and that was cool.
I tore down another kimono for the silk. Hee. I'm always appalled with myself and delighted when I do that.
Tavi's lying beside me with his head on my lap. ♥ He's SO much happier since he went on antibiotics. yesterday he was playing like a kitten for the first time in months if not years. I feel bad that he may have had a chronic, low-level UTI all this time.... but I'm SO happy it's gone. It almost makes it worth the trip to the vet and the two weeks' worth of cleaning the car afterward!
I have a Joust arcade machine in the basement that I still haven't repaired. I'm intimidated by it. I need to buy a good multimeter and find my electronics soldering equipment. And figure out how to clean off the icky panels. Many of the old-school electronics repairmen recommend throwing the electronic panels *in the dishwasher* to clean them off! WTF?!? And then I have to deal with the monitor, too. O_o;;
Miss Cloud has vertical stripes on her... which means she's the bettah betta. Now I must do some research on requirements for breeding bettas, as
soranokumo's Odachi is demanding... er... visiting rights.
It may not work out unless I can find the betta equivalent of a ceiling fan and some chocolate-chip cookies for her.... eh heh.
