I am on the lookout for projects to put JF back to work............and this sounds interesting:

There's were some Matt Helm movies in the 60's -- sort of a tongue-in-cheek James Bond. IIRC, they starred Dean Martin.

This sounds like a fun project.

Knowing Spielberg, though, he'll probably go with Tom Cruise :P Not that Joe shouldn't give auditioning for it a try, because one never knows ;)

Paul Attanasio can butcher any decent book. Turn away Mr. Spielberg, turn away while you still can! Though, they deserve one another if Spielberg is going to continue to turn out things like the last Indiana Jones. *shudders* I would like to forget that was ever made.

It does sound like a very interesting role though. Maybe people should be addressing things to his wife? I'm sure she is probably like, "When are you going back to work? Now would be good." Kind of like a navy wife- glad to have him home, but ready for him to go back to work. ;)

Joe said she would ask him "Shouldn't you be heading back to Atlantis?" but the trouble was it was only Saturday.........

I was a Navy brat.....been there, done that.
When dad retired he worked for a nonprofit and mom used to look forward to the time when he took his long work related trips.....usually 9 to 12 weeks.

She always lamented about being cooped up the rest of the time......
