Food supply of Atlantis
Recently as I watched UNDERGROUND, where they are seeking food supplies from the Genii for Atlantis,
and this was a continuing theme of the series, I wondered why not a floating greenhouse???
It would be simple enough..........e.g. a pontoon with a covering much like a greenhouse anywhere else.
They would also need a desalinization plant to cover needed water supply.
This would have been a simple procedure for engineers who were residing aboard Atlantis.
I realize it would not take care of all the items that were needed, but the basic fruits and vegetables
of the diet would be present..........besides the presence of a green area............Although the city is lovely, I would
miss the greenery
AND I do realize they can enjoy that off world, but would be nice to experience a bit of it daily.
