So I was planning on the whole transition from living home down the Jersey shore to living in New Brunswick situation to be somewhat slow, calculated, and planned out. That’s not quite the way things are panning out. Last night I found out that the summer sublet on my room fell through so now I am being asked to move in July 1st. Whereas I am excited that I will be moving in with my friends a whole month earlier, I am simultaneously caught up in a fury of confusion as to how I will be able to pull off the finances behind this all. Moving itself isn’t much of a problem and it can all be covered rather easily. On the other hand, I am also planning on financing a new car (one of which I still have no real clue as to the type). Any suggestions? I’ve been looking at everything from Hondas to Volkswagens to Hyundais. So far Hyundai comes up with the sweetest deal out there as far as incentives (Low APR, No Down, 90 days ‘till first payment… etc), but it certainly isn’t my top choice as far as vehicle manufacturer. One of my friends also suggested to me that I find out what the cost of the vehicle is to the dealership so that I can figure out the lowest that they will go. I’m not quite sure how to go about this… maybe there is a website out there that will offer insight? After all that bologna is said and done, there is the issue of auto insurance. I’m not even going to get started on that one...
again Looks like it is going to be a bit of a juggling act. At least I get to move in a month early now, though.
