And I don't wanna find a big dumb rocket on your mind
So this weekend was Lakens birthday party. It was a great time, best birthday party I think I've ever been to. I had so much fun. Me, James, and Jen were the first to get there, Lakens uncle picked us up to help set everything up. So for a while it was just us swimming around, and then Mel and other people started showing up. I had to give the dry people hugs, since I was soaking wet from the pool. I brought an underwater camera, and took some fun pictures (crotch shots of Kelly/Don) which I'll post later after I get them developed. We had snacks, listened to music, the usual. For most of the day, it was an above average birthday party, which was cool. Adam was jabbing his thumb with a safety pin, started bleeding, jabbed more. Then the cake came out, and I'm the only one that got pictures of Laken cutting it and blowing out the candles. Good thing I'm going to give her doubles, cause her aunt and uncle really want pictures of it. At night, Kirsti, Ashleigh, Andrew, Adam, Leah, Chris, the gang, showed up for a while. Played Stella Ella Ola, and Laken won (I won, but she was the birthday girl and pulled her thumb away screaming she wins). Some people played my xbox, so it wasn't completely pointless to bring it, which makes me happy. Adam was doing magic tricks with pretzels, which were ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY amazing.
As the night began to develop, people began to get drunk. Thats when things began to get less fun (well, more fun for everyone but me, Laken, and Rachel it seems). They started getting loud, obnoxious, and just overall stupid. A couple of the girls were getting slutty, and I'm sure that some people went to far with things. Laken tried to keep all that under control for a while, and ended up just coming into the big tent with me and sleeping. She went out there a couple last times and shouted "Are you fucking stupid? Grow the fuck up". Then we just slept the night away. Well, she slept and I attempted to sleep. James and Jen were up all night, drunk. But they're responsible drunks, and were just having a good time. James with his Kumbaya (and altered lyrics), Jen and her laughing and snorting.
At one point James looked in the window where Laken and I were sleeping, and I believe his exact words were "They're fucking passed out, no way they can hear me. Aw, how cute. Andrew and Laken are spooning." Which I guess is true. I didn't get any sleep all night, cause I had no pillow and there were lumps all around my head, so I was attempting to use my arm. It didn't work. So I was completely voluntarily "spooning" with Laken, both cause it was really cold at night, and cause I love cuddling with Laken, since she's so super amazing lol (insert more complimentary lines here). And she woke up every 10 minutes or so to change her position a bit, so I don't know if she realized how close she was to me or not lol. But it was a long night, I got like an hour of sleep after Laken went inside in the morning and I stole her pillow.
In the morning I woke up, and Tash just happened to be checking to see if I was awake cause she wanted company. So we sat around for a while talking, the only ones awake. We were both the last ones asleep, and the first ones really awake. So we chatted, listened to music, the same old jazz. Rachel yelled at me to turn off the crap that I was listening to, cause she was tired. Then she came and joined us listening to that crap lol. The rest of the morning basically consists of the usual get togethers, only with a larger crowd, and the taking down of tents. And everyone left and was gone by 11:00, so me and Laken wandered around her yard cleaning everything up. Damn people smashing cups, that was a bitch to clean up. But oh well. Then me and Laken went inside and had cake for breakfast. Then Laken had a shower, and I talked to her aunt for 30 minutes to an hour, I lost track of time. It was surprisingly fun lol. So I got invited to go to wal-mart and mcdonalds before they dropped me off at home, so I went with them until 3:30 ish. I think. And when they were dropping me off, we saw James, Brandon, Jen, and I don't know who else walking by the store.
So they dropped me off, and I went to Chris's almost as soon as I got home. I tried to sleep while I was there, but Chris was launching pennies at me and screaming "WAKE THE FUCK UP!" lol. It didn't stop me from lying there with my eyes closed, but it stopped me from falling asleep. Then I came home and had dinner, and that leaves me here.
And if I forgot anything, then oh well, it'll be fixed later. I'm still really tired from my lack of sleep.
