Atlanta

On wensday morning, at 3:45 am i head off to Atlanta Georgia for the FIRST Robotics Competition Championships.  I will be gone for 5 days.  Last year was really fun and I expect this year to be as good, if not better.  I am bringing my laptop and i have confirmed that the hotel has free high speed internet so i might be online.

About the competition and my team

I am a part of team 1511 Rolling Thunder, a third year team from NY.  I am the electrical subteam leader.  I am also student leader of the fuel cell subteam.  I have built a fuel cell.  The subteam is currently working on checking the fuel cell for leaks (we know there are leaks, just not where the leaks are).  It does work and does provide power (up to 20 volts).  The team won the Chairmans award at the Finger Lakes regional this year and we will be competing for the Chairmans award in Atlanta.  The chairmans award is the top award and it is given to teams that help out in their community, spread the word of FIRST, help other teams, are involved with their school, and help teammembers out.  my team has a good chance at getting this award in Atlanta.
