Dunsheppin'
Upon realising that I have more money in my current account than I thought (I would have had more if I hadn't had to spend £60-odd on train tickets to and from Southampton a few weeks ago) and less than a week until pay day, I decided to go shepping for things other than food and drink, a rare occurrence for me. In lieu of the Dempsey and Makepeace series 3 DVD box set that I wanted, I bought some lovely shirts (including a T-shirt with a Pac Man motif, which should go down quite well in furry circles) and some other odds and ends that whilst not essential, seemed worth buying, such as a mini duster for The Volvo's dashboard, Rawlplugs and household bleach. I think I spent about £40 in total (le gasp!), which is mega-bucks for me...
Had a haircut as well, which makes all the difference :)
EDIT: More bits bought, this time online, namely an oil filter and some brake bits for The Volvo. Might be able to finish its service soon...
