Yesterday Was AWESOME
Haven't posted in a long time.
I'm writing a post now because it is necessary. I want to capture the moment somehow, just a little.
Yesterday was incredible. From start to finish. Days like that are few and far between, so enjoy them while you can.
First, I got paid. It's always good to see the check get deposited in your account first thing in the morning, right on schedule.
Second, somebody not named "Clinton" was sworn in as our new President. Let's just say I'm not too upset over it. I'm not the biggest Donald Trump fan in the world, but it is a much better option than having to deal with another Clinton in the White House again.
Third, my sister had her second baby, Benjamin, at 1:19 in the afternoon. Everybody is perfectly healthy. Life is pretty awesome.
Fourth, Sam called me for the first time in a long time. And it wasn't in anger. In fact, she called to make up and apologize for treating me as badly as she did. On top of that, she did so in a way that exposed a lot more vulnerability than I would expect from her. No details, but it was moving.
So....
Pay day. Inauguration Day. Birthday. And Samantha.
