Also, yes its great that you put Sheldon as us and Penny as them. Most of us hope even more after that and believe even more which on the producer/writer part was really mean and cruel if they never ever intend to explore it at all. WHY even make that scene at all?

I'd also like to add that based on the promos for tomorrow's new episode, Penny again calls him Honey so the tumblr thing is now 20 for Sheldon, not 19. People say its just mixing up terms of enderment but I doubt it, she would be spillin them out a ton for Leonard then to.

I agree about the whole being more ok with comforting penny over amy. Also most of us Shenny shippers do like Amy, we just don't see them as a believable couple. Its nothing more than silliness and surely he comes off as very uncomfortable with her in many situations. Also that whole Amy saying his world is lame.... why would he want a lifelong partner like that? I mean, has Amy ever even played his games with them? No but Penny has.

About the date.... its important to remember two things.... 1--Penny NEVER said no. The idea of the date just kinda threw her off and I see it as she might of said yes but she didn't want to be just a reason to make someone jealous 2-- Sheldon thinks he is the guy... meaning... he pays attention very much to how she is with him and he is interested... he just is new to all this and probably remembers the "big ole five" thing.

For those that don't know what happens tomorrow... trust me, there is another big moment for them and us Shenny fans that is either leading us to a path of something awesome or just being teased by the cruelest writers in hollywood :D
